Couple things; Why do people insist on claiming that women are being objectified whenever a woman decides to be photographed like this? SHE is the one with the power in this situation! SHE decided to be photographed dressed like this! This is her work just as much as the photographers. What about her looks fake? Just cause she has a large chest suddenly shes fake? I don't care if they're fake or not, there are people with natural breats three times this size. Most of all, I don't get why people who dont want to look at this type of photography keep looking at it and feel the need to leave negative comments on it. Noone forced you to look at it! If you don't want to see this stuff on deviantart, the last thing you should do is click on it and raise the number of views, pushing it closer to the front page. If you keep finding things on the site you dont like, stop complaining and turn off your damn computer. LOVE this picture and this photographers work! Women for the sake of being women... nuff said!
You sound jealous. Just because she decided to get bigger boobs that does not mean she is a fake person. I know it's hard to wrap your little mind around but she might have gotten it done because she wanted to. If someone is unhappy with how they look and can get it changed then why the hell should they not be allowed? Should they be forced to be unhappy just because you don't agree with it? It's her body and she should be able to do whatever the hell she pleases with it without you judging her. Remember "judge not, lest ye be judged."
Alright, so now that I have some time on my hands, lets start of by saying:
"Practice what you preach" you major IGNORAMUS.
Next, read my comment carefully, the "Uh yeah?" and the are meant to be blaring signals that I'm being sarcastic. Hence I wasn't judging her...because I don't care what she does with herself. And big tits are no issue for me just as they aren't for most guys.
I can't be jealous since I'm a guy...unless you think that doesn't matter in which case you're seriously .
Oh and my "little mind" took the time to look over your page to see that you are a girl(with no life clearly), I didn't simply go by your icon and s/n on my own "assumptions" as you did about me.
So the next time you want to call someone something, or label them, or perhaps...judge them? Get off you high horse...unicorn in your case. Take a breath, read their comment, then re-read it, then re-read it and make sure you know whats going on. Oh and don't forget to check their profile before you get on your self righteous crusade to banter them.
Lastly don't insult wise sayings like "judge not, lest ye be judged" when you're doing just that while you're saying "judge not, lest ye be judged."
Well said, the models have the power of the situation, they ultimately wearing clothes they own and how expressive to be etc... It is women for the sake of being women, you dont always need some deep meaning to make images.
You do realize this is a professional photo and that models often use these kinds of shots to get work don't you?
Often times the model is the client asking for a series of shots in order to add to their portfolio of work in order to get jobs. You are making such a blatantly ignorant comment about a business you most obviously know nothing about.
"Plastic" and "fake" are words to describe things when we were children. Try being an adult and give a professional critique to the photo. Like how maybe using a different lens, changing the aperture, lighting, composition, etc. could help the picture. Fbuk is a Pro. This is what he does for a living and his models are all professional models. Have some respect for the art form. You may not like it but it's still art.
I expect more from someone who calls themselves an artist and is part of the artist community of deviant art.
Don't fucking look at it then. What a very asinine thing to say about women, by the way. Individual women are allowed to look however they like, regardless of what society or you thinks about it. I don't exactly look like the male celebrities in the tabloids either.
its the fact that its things like this that are coating the main page of deviant art in the first place. if anything, shes more fake than natural. shes made herself into artificial beauty which isnt even attractive in the first place. why not go fuck a maniquin then?
Why do you people complain about pictures like this being on deviantART? Do you understand what the definition of deviant is and how it is commonly used in sexual contexts? In terms of art, images like this are the definition of deviating from the norm (which is often skinny models in black and white photographs. Nothing wrong with it, but that is the modern "artsy norm"). Part of deviating from the norm is that not everyone is going to care for it. The least you can do on a website called "deviantART" is not go out of your way and complain about how it doesn't belong on this website or shouldn't get front page publicity. Criticize it if you'd like, but don't be a tyrannical little worm and say what does and doesn't belong. Do you realize that some people might think that your art shouldn't belong on this website (for the record, I like your pictures)?
Beauty is subjective, you fucking goof. And hell, why not, let's compare a human being we have never met to a mannequin simply because they don't conform to our subject view of beauty and bullshit morality. If you don't like the program, change the channel.
Yes, but I should change it to CaptainI-Shouldn't-Waste-Time-On-Idiots-Like-flyingcheesecurds because you won't even bother addressing any of the points I made. Continue being close-minded for all I care.
Plenty of us think this is a gorgeous photo because of the technical prowess behind the lens as well as the sheer beauty of the model. You can't decide what should or shouldn't be on DeviantArt.
People like you seem to forget that these women have freely chosen to do this. Does society, especially American society have an overly sexualized atmosphere? Sure. Does that mean that women like this shouldn't do what they do or shouldn't look the way they look? No.
Deviantart is about artists sharing their work.. be it drawings, paintings, photography, sculpture, etc. Who are you to deem what art is? This is a community of artists and bashing another's work because you may not find it acceptable is utterly ridiculous.
If you want to censor art than you are not an artist since it is an artists expression that defines it as art.
